Concentrating partly on sharing featured content from around the web and paired with some (most of the time) thoughtful analysis, Princess Politics strives to be a breath of fresh air.  Less angry, more open and a pretty good dose of snarkiness to get by.   Based in Minnesota, the content featured is aimed at local and national news, with some international headlines mixed in for good measure.

I started this blog because I love to write and Facebook no longer seemed to be the appropriate outlet.  These are stories that need to be shared!  Any way that I can bring a fresh point of view to an issue I believe is a win for everyone.  There’s a reason that so many young people get their news from “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show”.  There has to be a way to make news interesting and insightful without the drab content of many major outlets.  If I can add to that, I will.
