Barack Obama, America’s Replacement Ref
A funny thing happened over the course of a few weeks in the National Football League. What began as usual humdrum complaints about the quality of refereeing going on in stadiums across the country soon turned to union debates, referee lockouts and the now-infamous replacement refs.
Once the real, trained professional NFL referees were no longer on the field making the calls, thus began the nostalgic yearnings for the days when one bad call or two was the anomaly and not the norm. The increase in bad decision-making and one exemplary display of failure that twisted the fate of an entire game led to a national uproar by sports fans. Eyes were opened, realizing that maybe the real refs weren’t so bad at all, maybe someone trained with the proper skills was best for the game… Once they saw how bad it could get, they wanted the real guys back.
What we have on our hands here, America, is greater than any replacement debacle we could ever imagine. See, we replaced one president (George W Bush), who was a former governor and businessman, with a guy whose only accomplishments in life were given to him because of affirmative action. We replaced Bush with a guy who legitimately has NO clue what it means to be a statesman, what it takes to run a business, and what it takes to achieve something because of merit, not because of the color of his skin.
Barack Obama has had four years to make things right. Not only has he not stopped the bleeding in America, our economic conditions are still horrendous, our foreign policy crumbling by the day and our stature in the world diminishing with every word he utters, with the help of the TelePrompter of the United States, of course….
Barack Obama has blown call after call, taken our sovereignty and gleefully handing it over to the United Nations at any chance he gets.
America, it is time to FIRE OBAMA. It is time to replace this replacement President with someone who actually knows what he’s doing and can turn this ship around before we lose our identity as a nation.
Barack Obama IS America’s replacement ref. We deserve a President who we can trust to make the right calls when we need it the most.
Mitt Romney is the real referee we need to get us through these murky waters so that we may once again see a new morning in America. The frightening aspect here is that one wildly public blown call by NFL replacement refs simply screws up a team’s record. Any more blown calls from the White House and the America we love may vanish before our very eyes…
Once you live through a moment in time that shows you how bad things COULD be, you then realize how vital it is to have someone in charge who knows what they are doing.

You write well. However, I expected more substance. The people of the U.S. must approve of affirmative action, ‘cuz they voted for it – twice. So, maybe it’s not affirmative action, but an affirmative choice. You see the world in a fog of White supremacy, dudette. We’ve moved beyond you. You wear your crown well, Princess. But your Prince is in the White House. You better grow to like him, because he’s ruling for 4 more years. You see race, where I see a biracial man who incorporates both sides of his experience, black and white, to choose whomever he thinks fits the bill. If the GOP had some ideas he could work with besides, “No. Whatever. No.” we’d be further along. The GOP has proven to be devoid of any substance except on social issues that they don’t even really believe in, in practice… so, you all are just plebes wanting special attention because, let’s see–you’re white? That’s affirmative action, too, my friend. It’s just that the country didn’t like your brand of Whiteness.
